Unsurprisingly, Tehran’s response indicates a desire for retaliation against Israel. Iran issued a warning to Israel, stating that there will be severe consequences for the bombing of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria.

On Wednesday, the Israeli military declared that it had enlisted reservists to enhance its air defence capabilities. This morning, it announced that it had suspended home leave for combat units as well.
Simultaneously, GPS systems in important regions of the country, such as Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, were experiencing disruptions, seemingly in an effort to counteract guided missiles reliant on those systems.A BBC producer said that her GPS erroneously indicated her location as Cairo instead of Jerusalem.

President Ebrahim Raisi of Iran issued a stern warning, stating that Israel will face severe consequences for its unlawful acts. Tehran claims that he expressed his comments during a telephone conversation with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.
On Monday, the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus resulted in the deaths of seven individuals belonging to Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), including Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a high-ranking officer of the IRGC’s extraterritorial Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon.
Raisi also commended the “shared stances” of Iran and Iraq in opposition to Israel during the Gaza conflict.As per the Iranian report, Sudani characterised the Damascus attack as an outcome of Israel’s “inefficiencies” in countering the “resistance movement” in the area.
