Michael Gove, in his role as the Secretary of State for Housing, has dedicated his efforts over the past few years to addressing our housing crisis.
However, he now possesses a minor one of his own. On July 5, the day after the election, the Tory MP might potentially be without a home.
Gove currently resides in One Carlton Gardens, a Government-owned residence valued at £25 million, which is conveniently located near Buckingham Palace.
Since November 2021, he has taken possession of the property that is typically designated for the Foreign Secretary, after separating from his wife Sarah Vine.
The decision to allow him to reside there was partially driven by security considerations. Now Gove, who already said that he would not seek re-election, will be removed from his position but has not yet finalised new plans.

Gove has derived great pleasure from his visit, frequently organising sophisticated meals for intellectually inclined individuals in the fields of journalism and academics.
He has also received complaints from the neighbours for bringing visitors onto the roof. Being one of our most tenured Cabinet ministers (having served at the highest level for 13 out of the last 14 years), he enjoys strong connections with influential individuals and is unlikely to have difficulties in securing a new position.
What are his job aspirations?
Gove has displayed significant enthusiasm for the Times Radio war bus and considers the relatively recent station as his preferred listening choice.
During the Liz Truss administration, there were reports that he was being considered for a position at The Times when he temporarily left the Government.
However, this opportunity did not materialise as Rishi Sunak requested his return to the Cabinet. Now that he is departing permanently, shall we continue to hear his voice on the radio?
