Two robberies were reported within an hour of each other, prompting the police to issue a plea for information.
A robbery occurred in London Road, Kettering, at approximately 22:30 BST on Sunday. The victim was allegedly threatened with a knife and coerced into giving over his cell phone, according to Northamptonshire Police. The first incident occurred near the intersection of Stamford Road and Bath Road, a second incident occurred at approximately 23:40 in which a man was headbutted and his phone was stolen.
The robberies were being investigated by the police as possibly connected, and they urged anyone with information to contact the 101 hotline. The individuals wanted in connection with both cases have been characterised as black males, between the ages of 16 and 20, standing at around 6 feet 2 inches (188 cm), and wearing a black puffa jacket.
