Aid Worker killed in Pakistan


British aid worker Khalil Dale, who was kidnapped in Pakistan in January of this year has been found dead, the Foreign Office have confirmed. His body was discovered in an orchard in Quetta with a note saying he had been killed by the Taliban, local police said. Mr Dale who worked for the Red Cross‘ International Committee (ICRC), was kidnapped in Quetta, south-west Pakistan. Taliban Raid on Kabul


The Taliban in Afghanistan launched explosions today, firing rockets and gunfire throughout Kabul which targeted Western embassies in the city; the NATO force headquarters, and parliament building. Attacks also took place In the eastern city of Jalalabad, as the Taliban militants attacked a foreign force base near a school, there were also reports of a blast near the airport.
