A 14-year-old boy from Corby has been sentenced to a six-month referral order with the Northamptonshire Youth Offending Panel for committing eight offences related to anti-social behaviour.
The boy admitted to arson, criminal damage, and assault, and was ordered to pay a total of £1,350 compensation.
The offences included criminal damage to a coffee shop in Queen’s Square, using threatening words to cause fear of violence, arson in Willow Place, criminal damage at a business in George Street, assault by beating, and criminal damage to a fence in Corby.
Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant Keely Cox stated that the police are committed to preventing anti-social behaviour and bringing those responsible to justice.
