CND – SAY NO TO YHE DARC

Under the terms of the AUKUS agreement, the United Kingdom and the United States of America want to establish a high-power radar station known as the Deep Space Advanced Radar Concept (DARC) at Cawdor Barracks in Brawdy, Pembrokeshire, which is located in West Wales.

The DARC will have 27 dishes. CND is pleased to announce that it is providing support to the local campaign against this development, which has officially begun, and is called PARC Against DARC.

CND are completely committed to preventing this military abomination from ever being brought into existence.

The Solva Memorial Hall will be the location of a public meeting that will take place on Thursday, June 27 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

For the purpose of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Preparatory Committee (PrepCom), governments will convene at the United Nations in Geneva during the months of July and August.

CND will be present in Switzerland to oppose the arguments that are in favour of the creation of a European nuclear weapons system.

Additionally, they will be conducting a side meeting to discuss the reasons why we need to mobilise in opposition to a programme that is being referred to as the “Eurobomb.”

In advance of the PrepCom, we would like to extend an invitation to our supporters to participate in a webinar that will be centred around the same topic.

We will hear from a lineup of international speakers on a variety of issues, including the influence of the United States on European military strategy, the viewpoint of French disarmament advocates, and how treaties such as the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and the Treaty on the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (TPNW) might be utilised to put a stop to the “Europroliferators.”
