NIGHTCLUB FIRE ISTANBUL

A total of 27 individuals have lost their lives and one person has sustained severe injuries as a result of a fire that occurred in a nightclub in Turkey.

The club, situated in the subterranean level of a high complex in Istanbul, was temporarily closed and undergoing refurbishments during daylight hours.


During a press conference, Istanbul governor Davut Gül stated that the exact cause of the fire had not yet been determined.
He stated that the fire brigade was conducting investigations.

Ekrem Imamoglu, the Mayor of Istanbul, expressed his condolences postimg on X “May God have mercy on our citizens who lost their lives, and I wish a speedy recovery to  our injured” he said in the X social media platform.”
