MCDONALD’S APOLOGISES TO HOMELESS MAN

Those watching were astonished when a security guard at a McDonald’s in London commenced cleaning the floor surrounding a homeless individual outdoors, resulting in the man’s bedding becoming thoroughly drenched.

Damon Evans captured this footage of the incident on Saturday, December 9, denouncing it as “repugnant conduct.” In a remark on X addressed at McDonald’s, the man stated that he was not even outside their premises.

Mr Evans asked if it is seen as permissible for your employees to saturate the sleeping bags of individuals experiencing homelessness during the winter season (or any other period)? he inquired to the McDonald’s staff at fault.

McDonald’s UK sent a reaction on Sunday, expressing their sincere apology to the individual seen in the video. The third-party security guards implicated in the incident have been permanently expelled from our restaurants.

Aaron McCarthy, a 25-year-old homeless individual, expressed his strong disapproval of the occurrence to The Telegraph.

The security guy commenced the act of cleaning the floor by mopping it, while simultaneously displacing my belongings into the water with forceful kicks. “It was repulsive,” McCarthy stated. “I departed due to the excessive stress, and I experienced a sleepless night as my bedding was completely drenched.” The scent of bleach lingers on my blanket.

McDonald’s UK expressed their intention to reach out to Mr McCarthy and rectify the situation.
