Amid Donald Trump’s refusal to believe the outcome and concede on the US presidential election to Joe Biden, more controvesy surrounds a hint be one of his ex-aide who suggests the First Lady, Melania Trump could plan to leave her husband and end their 15-year marriage.

“Melania is counting every minute until he is out of office and she can divorce,” former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman told The Mail on Sunday, suggested Melania Trump would wait until January to save the president the “ultimate humiliation” of leaving his side while still in office and avoid any possible retaliation.

Many have wondered about the emerging platonic relationship and it’s future after public appearances of them together at Trump Rallies where it appeared she turned away from him and refused to take his hand in embrace and instead pulled away and walked in from of him. It however is believed she may have done this for health reasons as it’s believed she’s been concerned about the lack of White House staff members wearing protective Covid-19 facemasks and had concern about her children, in particular Barron Trump  contracting the virus.

Melania Trump has hit back at the rumours and accused one of her husband’s former aides of ‘lashing out’ after she’d claimed that Melania, the First Lady, was ‘counting the minutes’ to divorce her husband in her new book.

Omarosa Manigault Newman, was an ex-political adviser to Trump, said the couple’s relationship was over and Melania was simply waiting for the President to lose power before leaving him.

In August 2018, Newman published ‘Unhinged’, detailing her tenure at the White House and criticizing Trump and his administration. Two days before the book was released, she released the first of as many as 200 secret tapes she recorded during her White House tenure. As of 8 November 2020, she has released four tapes. The first tape she released, which was secretly recorded inside the Situation Room, was described as “one of the worst White House security breaches ever,” though the tape is thought not to violate the Espionage Act.

In this sage it’s also rumoured that a pre-nuptial was agreed between Donald and Melania that Melania was not to speak publicly about her husband with strict arrangement for speaking to the press about their relationship or future book deals it’s believed that Donald Trump might seek some form of retribution such as trying to revoke her American citizenship.

Mr Trump’s current press advisor said that Melania hardly even knew Omarosa Manigault Newman and dispelled  any inference of a future divorce.
