Lesbian Avengers Versus Stagecoach Boss: Activists Halt London Bus in Dramatic Protest Against Section 28
In June 2000, the London Lesbian Avengers staged a civil disobedience protest by commandeering and painting a Stagecoach bus pink in Piccadilly Circus. Targeting transport magnate Brian Souter, a supporter of Section 28, their action aimed to highlight the discriminatory law.
