TRUMP BECOMES 47TH PRESIDENT: A FELON’S COMEBACK?

Republican former President Donald Trump claimed victory in his race against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris for the White House – he promised a “Golden Age” for USA.

Speaking at his campaign’s election night watch party in West Palm Beach, Fla., Trump called his campaign “the greatest political movement of all time” and said his election to a second term will usher in the “Golden Age of America.”

Donald Trump’s inauguration as President will be set for January 20th. The deciding vote was Wisconsin in the electoral race for the Republican Party.

He claimed that he won the popular vote, though counting is not yet finished. Trump also claimed that Republicans won the Senate and that it “looks like we’ll be keeping control” of the House of Representatives prematurely.

Key themes of his campaign centred around cracking down on immigration and turning around a supposedly failing economy under President Joe Biden.

Trump promised to fix our borders and everything about our country. He was joined on stage by his wife and family and vice presidential nominee Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, who said they just witnessed the greatest political comeback in the history of the United States of America.

Trump also shouted out billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk, who he called “a new star” and “one of the most important people” after Musk aggressively campaigned on Trump’s behalf in the final stretch of the race.

Trump hinted at what his future administration could look like, saying that former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would help “make America healthy again.”

Kennedy, a vaccine sceptic who ended his campaign in August and endorsed Trump, has said in recent days that he expects a prominent role overseeing federal health agencies.
