The US has launched strikes on 85 locations in Syria and Iraq in response to a drone attack on a US military installation last Sunday.
The White House blamed an Iranian-backed umbrella militia group for the incident that resulted in the deaths of three US servicemen.
Sixteen people were slain in the US retaliatory strikes, according to Iraq, and the country will suffer greatly as a result.
The US claims that its forces conducted airstrikes against Iranian-backed militants in Syria and Iraq.
“We have begun our response as of today. Iran has disputed accusations that it was involved in the attack on the US facility, referring to them as “baseless” and asserting that it was “not involved in the decision-making of resistance groups.” In a statement released on Friday, President Biden said, “it will continue at times and places of our choosing.”
