FBI Releases Images of Suspect in Charlie Kirk Shooting

The FBI have released images of a “person of interest” in the Charlie Kirk shooting, and are offering a $100,000 reward for information.

The killer is still at large – but a high-powered rifle has been found in nearby woods, as well as a “footwear impression… and a forearm imprint”.

Kirk, an ally of President Trump, was shot at a Utah university – officials say the suspect “appears to be of college age” and fled “into a neighbourhood”.

We’ve looked at footage of the suspected gunman running across a roof – and here’s a recap of what we do and don’t know so far.

Earlier, two people questioned by the police were released without charge.

Donald Trump says he will award Kirk the “Presidential Medal of Freedom” posthumously.

The crime scene feels frozen in time, with attendees’ belongings still strewn across the lawn.
