Tonight around eight PM Eastern, NASA’s Artemis II mission wraps up after ten days in space.
The four astronauts—Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen—launched April first, flew around the Moon, and set a new record for farthest humans from Earth.

Their Orion capsule splashes down in the Pacific off San Diego at about eight oh seven PM Eastern. It re-enters the atmosphere at over twenty-three thousand miles per hour before slowing for a safe ocean landing.
This crewed test flight is a big step toward future Moon landings. Catch it live on NASA’s YouTube if you’re free this evening.
